The historic town of Robe on the Limestone Coast is once again hosting the ‘Robe Village Fair’, an extravaganza of food, wine, music, arts and children’s activities in November.

Kicking off on Friday 24th November with a huge open air Aussie rock concert featuring Mark Seymour (sponsored by Aussie Cider), followed by “The Legend” Jimmy Barnes (sponsored by Karatta Wine Co), with plenty of food, wine,  ales and cider from the region.

The superb taste of the Limestone Coast continues on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th with two massive days to indulge in everything that Robe has to offer. Early morning festivities start with breakfast at the Robe Golf Club at the start of their Cape Jaffa Classic weekend competition. Both inside and outside the Robe Village Fair, shop at the myriad of art and craft stalls decked out in a festive market atmosphere and view the classic car display. Sample the local delicacies – from crayfish and a variety of other seafood to Asian dishes, local chargrilled meats and fish, and all sorts of sweet delights! Chill out with a glass of wine from our local Vignerons while you enjoy music from Shane Howard (sponsored by Lucas Earthmovers).

Music continues throughout the day with a return performance from the sultry Kate Ceberano (sponsored by Coopers Brewery) and the massively successful singer Jon Stevens (sponsored by BankSA). To top off a perfect day, a spectacular fireworks display over Guichen Bay!

On Sunday, another fun packed day for the whole family to enjoy with another performance from Shane Howard (sponsored by Cape Jaffa Anchorage) continuing through the afternoon with yet another top band – The Whitlams (sponsored by Robe Tourism & Traders). Participate in the Penfolds Wine Challenge in the afternoon and kick back to The Dave Palmer Quintet in the wine tent. Relax, have lunch looking out over the Bay and soak up the sun while listening to some of the best music around!

No need to worry about the kids! All the children’s activities are free with unlimited rides to keep them amused on both Saturday & Sunday! Plenty to occupy them from the Professor Wallace Puppet Show, The Amazing Sam the Clown, rock-climbing, go-carts, face painting, AFL Handball & Sandcastle building competitions etc. and lots more fun in the Village Square throughout the day.

This is the best and biggest weekend event in the Limestone Coast – not to be missed…… Tickets available from the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre Box Office and selected BankSA branches.
